Wilma K LaValle Wilma K LaValle, 87, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on February 10, 2011 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. She was born in Saline, MI of March 9, 1923 to George and Malena (Weber) Renz. She married Pat LaValle on July 28, 1952. She retired from Ford Motor Co in 1980, then moved to Lewiston in 1981 from Dundee, MI. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and playing euchre with her friends at the American Legion in Lewiston. She was a member of the Lewiston Congregation of the United Church of Christ, the Moose Ladies Group, and the American Legion Post 198 in Lewiston. Wilma is survived by her son, Gary (Leslie) Mayher of Milan, MI; daughter, Tammy (Richard) Ashley of Lewiston, MI; 6 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; ans a sister, Doris (Frank) Carson of Manchester, MI. she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 yrs, Pat. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mrs LaValle will be held in the spring at the Lewiston Congregation of the United Church of Christ, Pastor Toby Stadden officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the American Legion Post 198 or the Lewiston Congregation of the United Church of Christ.
