William Young

William Eugene Young William Eugene Young, 62 of Atlanta, MI passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on April 17, 2011. He was born to Rueben and Viola (Stouffe) Young on December 30, 1948 in Detroit, MI. He continued to live in the Detroit area until moving to Atlanta, where he has resided for the last forty years. He enjoyed working in the woods, as well as woodworking, and spent time fishing. He also enjoyed to watch television, mostly NCIS. Above all, he enjoyed his time spent with family and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Tina Young of Atlanta, MI; sons, Eric Young of Detroit, MI; Shannon (Nina) Young of Gaylord, MI; Mickel of Atlanta, MI; daughter, Hope (Nick) Calegro of NJ; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Sue Radford of Detroit, MI. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial gathering for Mr Young held this Labor Day weekend. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home. A Chicken Dinner will be held on Sunday, May 15 at the Wedge Inn to help as well.
