William Roberts

William A. Roberts William A. Roberts, 75, of Lewiston, passed away on July 30, 2009 at Northern Michigan Hosptial in Petoskey. He was born on September 23, 1933 to Quincy and Emily (Scrimger) Roberts in Jackson, MI. He married the former Annabel Wightman on June 28, 1952 in Jackson. He retired from Goodyear Tire Co after 43 yrs, as a computer analyst and system designs specialist. He has lived in Lewiston for the past 10 yrs formerly of Mogadore, OH. He was a member of the Kent Elks 1377 in Ohio, the Lewiston Moose Lodge, and also the Sons of the American Legion in Lewiston. He enjoyed the computer, building, and repairing different things. He liked to sing Karaoke and play the sax. Bill is survived by his wife, Annabel "Corky", of Lewiston, MI; sons, William of Whitmore Lake, MI, Eddie (Jan) of Mogadore, OH, and Tom of Whitmore Lake, MI; duagher, Sue Diss of Kent, OH, and Cindy (Bobby) Arrowood of Arkon, OH; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Loraina Russell. Funeral services for Mr Roberts will be held on Tuesday, August 4 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston MI. Visitation hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 PM in Lewiston.
