William Gordon Marceau William Gordon Marceau, 84, of Hillman, Michigan passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on July 8, 2016. He was born on April 23, 1932 in Dearborn, Michigan to Charles and Margaret (Kempf) Marceau. He served his country proudly in the Unites States Army during the Korean War. He married the former Connie Hallead on September 28, 1957 in Waterford, Michigan. He has lived in Hillman for the past 25 years formerly of Pontiac, MI. William retired from the General Motors Orion plant in 1990 after 29 years of service. He also owned and operated Melbourne Lathing in Florida for 15 years. He was a life member of the Houghton Lake Eagles. William enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to tinker in his garage. Above all else, he loved every minute spent with his family. William is survived by his wife, Connie; daughters, Jayne (Bob) Earl and Lori (Ron Peck) Marceau, both of Davison, Michigan; grandchildren, Melisa, Angelica, Michele, Chris, Patrick, Jenna, and Aiden; great grandchildren, Sierra, Aisha, Elyse, Emma Mae, Samiyah, and Jack Wiliam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Margaret; sons, William Jr and Jack; grandson, Mason; and brothers, Robert and Bruce. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held later this summer at his residence.
