William "Bill" James Mandilk Jr Mr. William "Bill" James Mandilk Jr. 70 of Hillman, Michigan passed away on June 10, 2013 at his home. He was born to the late, William James and Mary Antoinette (Nelson) Mandilk Sr. in Pontiac, Michigan on May 23, 1943. He married wife, Mary Turpin on April 18, 1964 in Walled Lake and together the couple resided in Hillman for the last 25 years, formerly of Novi. William retired from Sealastomer Detroit as a production control manager after 20+ years. He enjoyed to farm and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He liked making things from what he could grow, catch, or hunt; such as jerky, jam, smoked fish and game. He then would share with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mandilk of Hillman; sons, Mike (Linet) Mandilk of Howell; Jeff (Misty) Mandilk of Commerce; grandchildren, Jimi, Alyssa, Josh, Jacob, Julia; and sister, Shirley George of West Branch. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Mandilk; and sister, Betty Jensen. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at 12:00PM on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. Augustine Catholic Church; Hillman, MI; Fr. Rolando Silva officiating. Visitation will take place at 10:30AM until time of service.
