William Harvey Laws Mr. William Harvey Laws, 74 of Lewiston, MI passed away at his home on December 29, 2011. He was born on April 28, 1937 in Bell County, KY. He served in the United States Army and was an expert in Morse code. He retired from General Motors Truck and Bus Division after forty-two years. He then moved to Lewiston where he was a member of the Lewiston Fun Ones, as current vice president and past president. He was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed the outdoors, being on his pontoon fishing and hunting for deer. He also loved to watch sports TV. Above all, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends. He is survived by wife, Elsie Laws of Lewiston, MI and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, George, Rocky, and Jimmy. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held at a later date at the Lewiston Fun Ones Snowmobile Club.
