William Kruse William Kruse, 77, of Alger, MI, formerly of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was born on May 29, 1935 to Harold and Geraldine (Gass) Kruse in Mt Clemens, MI. Bill retired from working as a carpenter for the United States government under the Department of the Air Force. He has lived in Alger since 1996. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years. With his wife, he enjoyed to travel and walk their dogs. Bill was an avid writer, having a few of his works published over the years. Bill is survived by his sons, James (Debbie) Wallace of Richmond, MI, and Bill Kruse of Brighton, MI; daughter, Mary Jo Kruse of Sterling Heights, MI, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and brothers, Robert Kruse of Mt Clemens, MI, and Clyde Kruse of Washington Twp, MI. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and a brother, Lynn. Graveside services for Mr. Kruse will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Avery Twp Cemetery, Atlanta, Michigan; Pastor Roger Steele officiating.
