Mr. William Douglas Daudlin, 71 of Lewiston, Michigan died on March 16, 2019 at his home. He was born on March 26, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to the late, William and Lyle (Kolp) Daudlin. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during Vietnam as a jet engine mechanic. Formerly of St. Clair Shores, William moved to Lewiston 10 years ago. He married his wife, Michelle (Cummings) Daudlin in Las Vegas on April 29, 1995 and together the couple celebrated 23 years of marriage before his passing. William was a member of the American Vets Post 57 in Harper Woods, an avid member of Friendly Sons of St. Patrick in Detroit, and a member of the American Legion Post 198 in Lewiston. He loved hockey and played for 50+ years. He was an outdoorsman and loved to cut wood, fish, hunt, and garden. William was a practical joker and a man that will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Daudlin of Lewiston; son, William Patrick Daudlin of Casco Township; daughter, Pamela (Mike) Kaminski of St. Clair; grandchildren, Eric, Katelyn, Sarah, and Kevin; brother, Pat (Connie) Daudlin of St. Clair Shores; sisters, Marsha (Mark Kay) Novara of Novi; Denise (Paul) Meschini of Sterling Heights. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lyle Daudlin; and brother, Gary.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of William's life at a later date.
