William Britt

William (Bill) Henry Britt, Mr. William (Bill) Henry Britt, 86 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away on November 3, 2012 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. He was born to Joseph and Lucy (Barker) Britt in Huntingdon, Tennessee on February 12, 1926. He married Wanda Carlisle on July 2, 1951 in Angola, Indiana. He has been a resident in Atlanta for the past twenty-five years, formally of Dearborn Heights. Bill drove truck for Detroit Steel and W & T Carthage for thirty plus years. He was a member of the Atlanta Full Gospel Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Wanda Britt of Atlanta; son, William (Debra) Britt of Lexington, SC; daughter, Brenda Cerullo of Atlanta; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lucy Britt; son, Gregory "Chip" Britt; brother, Lilburn Britt; sisters, Zelma Gillbreath and Marge Laskie. Funeral services for Mr. Britt will be held 11:00AM, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the Full Gospel Church, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Dave Fisher officiating. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Full Gospel Church from 3:00PM until 8:00PM. Interment will take place at Briley Twp Cemetery.
