Wanda Lee Parks Deevey Wanda Lee Parks Deevey, 84, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at her residence. She was born on May 19, 1922 to Rudy and Nellie (Barnes) Stout in Marion, IL. She has lived in Atlanta since 1988 formerly of Detroit, MI. She retired from bookkeeping after 40+ years working for various businesses, and also as a office executive at Grants in Clarkston. She enjoyed sewing and knitting. She loved the outdoors, she loved to fish, waterski, and camp. She held the Michigan state record for a Northern Pike caught on a worm for many years. She was an avid University of Michigan fan. Wanda truly loved to attend her children and grandchildrens sporting events over the years, no matter when or where, she was there. Wanda is survived by her son, LeRoy (Bonnie) Parks of Howell, MI; son in law, Stuart Pickering of Rochester, MI; daughter in law, Jeanne Parks of Atlanta, MI; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and a brother, Rudy Stout of Marion, IL. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Jay Parks, Pete Venters, and Don Deevey; son John Parks; daughter, Dixie Pickering; and a sister, Lena Barger. Funeral services for Mrs Deevey will be held on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Don Evilsizer officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday fro 5-9 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Avery Twp Cemetery in Atlanta.
