Walter Caverley

Walter Henry Caverley Mr. Walter Henry Caverley, 63 of Lewiston, Michigan, died peacefully on June 2, 2015 at Tendercare of Gaylord. He was born to the late, Harold and Dorothy (Henry) Carverley in Ypsilanti, Michigan on February 15, 1952. Walter lived in Lewiston for the last nine years, formerly of Plymouth, Indiana. He was a member of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He worked as a machine operator for Bendix for 12 years, and also owned and operated Walt's Small Engines for over 15 years. Walter loved to tinker around the house and garage, especially enjoying to work on small engines; and loved the times spent with his dog, "Misty". He is survived by his sons, Dennis (Regina) Caverley and David (Kelly) Caverley both of Plymouth, Indiana; grandchildren, Karissa, Ethan, and Gage; sisters, Margaret (Gerald) Simcox of Grovertown, Indiana; Kathleen Matthews of Arkansas, and Carolyn Jarrell of Warsaw, Indiana; brothers, Jim (Joyce) Caverley of Phoenix, Arizona, Dean Caverley of Elkhart, Indiana, Mike (Margie) Caverley of Warsaw, Indiana, and Patrick Caverley of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy; wife, Esther; brothers, Frank and Gerald; and sisters, Geraldine Hatfield and Jeannette Caverley. Funeral services for Mr Caverley will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lewiston, Michigan, Fr Santiago Hoyumpa officiating. Visitation will take place from 1-2 PM at the church. Interment will take place at Kittle Cemetery, Mio, Michigan.
