Vivian Kotarba

Vivian Ruth Kotarba Mrs. Vivian Ruth Kotarba, 77 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at MediLodge of Hillman on May 14, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 21, 1940 to the late, Raymond and Pearl (Wurm) Nicolai. She married her husband, Richard Kotarba on October 27, 1966 and together the couple celebrated 51 years of marriage before her passing. Formerly of Warren, the couple has resided in Atlanta for the last 30 years and have owned and operated the Trail Stop Party Store for the last eight. Vivian also worked for mental health as an aide for quite a few years. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Kotarba of Atlanta; daughter, Donna Drewanz of Missouri; sons, Richard Kotarba Jr of Grand Rapids; Alan Kotarba of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Weichel of St. Clair Shores; and Carol Read of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Pearl Nicolai; and son, Christopher Drewanz. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are currently no services scheduled for Mrs. Kotarba.
