Virginia Dely

Virginia Francine Dely Mrs. Virginia Francine Dely, 71 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away on February 21, 2014 at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. She was born to the late, Raymond and Margaret (Brooks) Collins in Hamtramck, Michigan on May 26, 1942. She married husband, William Dely in Plymouth, Michigan on November 12, 1966 and together they shared 47 wonderful years of marriage before her passing. She has lived in Lewiston since 1995, formerly of Gladstone. Virginia worked as a pharmacy technician at Arbor Drug and also spent time as the head bookkeeper NBD in Detroit for some time as well. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, singing in the choir for the past 7 years, and was a past member of the 50+ Club of Lewiston. She is survived by loving husband, William Dely of Lewiston; son, William Jr (Melinda)Dely of Glendora, CA; daughter, Cheryl (Glenn) Harrison of Lakeland, MI; ten grandchildren; two great grandsons; and sister, Pamela Collins of Cohasset, MN. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Dely Lunsford; and a sister Marcella Williams of Kansas City, MO. Visitation services will take place from 2:00PM until 4:00PM at the Green Funeral Home on Saturday, February 22 in Lewiston, Michigan. Graveside services will be held in the spring at Briley Twp Cemetery.
