Vincent Viviano Vincent Viviano, 83, of Gaylord, MI, died at his home on Manuka Lake on October 9, 2010 after a long bout with lung cancer. He was born on February 3, 1927 in Melvindale, MI, to Joseph and Josphine (Palazzolo) Viviana. At 18 yrs of age, he joined the US Army and was stationed in the Aleutian Islands, AK. On June 14, 1947 he married Ilene McMillan, they had five children together. She passed away in 1978. In June of 1982, he married Ramona Evans. He was an avid bowler and loved to fish in his younger years. Later in life, Vincent took up golf, enjoyed spending winters in Florida, and holiday gatherings with family. Vincent is survived by his wife, Mona; children, Vince (Marian) of Kalamazoo, MI, Mark (Pat) of Marysville, CA, Mike (Sheryl) of Gaylord, MI, Lisa (Cal) Bakker of Gaylord, MI, and Carol (Larry) Renkiewicz of Manton, MI; 15 grandchidlren; 16 great grandchildren; and three sisters and 1 brother, all of California. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ilene, and 2 sisters. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 from 4-8 PM at the First Congregational Church of Gaylord in the Parish Hall. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to Hospice of Michigan, Gaylord.
