Vincent Ellis Sanders

Mr. Vincent Ellis Sanders, 95 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at Frankfort Pines Assisted Living on August 13, 2024 in Frankfort, Michigan. He was born in Fenton Township, Michigan to the late Vernon and Beatrice (Hatfield) Sanders on June 13, 1929. He served his country proudly as a military police officer in Germany for the United States Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he began working for a crane rental company called Allingham Corporation where he started as a truck driver and retired as the administrative assistant to the president. Vincent has resided in Lewiston since 1991. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing. In his younger years, he loved to play softball and go bowling. Vincent is and will be deeply missed.

 He is survived by his children, Susan (Ken Irwin) Sanders of Beulah; Jason (Lois) Sanders of Sylvania, Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Beatrice Sanders; wife, Georgia; brother, Jerry; and sister, Donna.

 In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Vincent privately at this time.
