Victoria Barbara Howell Mrs. Victoria Barbara Howell, 94 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on February 7, 2016 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born to the late, Joseph and Frances (Roczniak) Jarnot in Avon, Minnesota on September 10, 1921. She lived in Atlanta for the last 50 years, formerly of St. Clair Shores. She attended Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Atlanta and enjoyed cooking, fishing, and gardening. In her younger years she participated in a Pinochle Club as well as bowling. Above everything, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is survived by sons, James (Mary) Peyton of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; Mark Peyton of Asheville, North Carolina and also Ponce, Puerto Rico; David (Karen) Howell of Gaylord; daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Legato of Rochester Hills; Kathy (George) Gage of Chesterfield; Barbara (Wayne) Moran of Traverse City; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Lillian Birchard of Crossville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Jarnot; husbands, James Peyton; and Lester; grandson, Ryan Gage; brothers, Steve and Joseph; sisters, Sally Hagerman; Cecile Spencer; and Irene Hruska. Funeral services for Mrs. Howell will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Jesus The Good Shepherd Catholic Church; Atlanta; Fr. Mike Connor officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00AM until time of service.
