Vera A. Penn Vera A. Penn, 73, of Atlanta passed away June 12, 2006 at her residence. She was born March 27, 1933 to Romolo and Dosolina (Moretti) Baldoni in Trenton, MI. She married Douglas Penn, January 14, 1953, and they raised five children together. She was a busy homemaker and at one time was a lunchroom aide at St. Mary's School. She was a member of VFW Post 9489 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockwood and Jesus the Good Shepard Catholic Church in Atlanta. Vera is survived by her husband, Douglas of Atlanta; five sons, Dennis Lee (Robin) Penn of Carleton, MI, David Wayne Penn and Michael Douglas (Cheryl) Penn, both of Atlanta, MI, Timothy Allen Penn of Bowling Green, KY, and Douglas Steven Penn of Rockwood; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Louis Paul (Martha) Baldoni of Perrysburg, OH. Mass of Christian Burial was held June 15, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rockwood. Interment took place at Michigan Memorial Park in Huron Township, MI. Funeral arrangements were in care of Ford Chapel of the Martenson Funeral Home, Rockwood MI.
