Ursula Heine

Ursula Heine Mrs. Ursula Heine, 95, of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on June 8, 2015. She was born in Germany to the late John and Elise (Kruger) Walter on April 29, 1920. She married husband, William Frederick Heine in Fenton, Michigan on June 28, 1941 and together they celebrated 51 years of marriage before his passing in 1992. Ursula lived in Lewiston for the last 45 years and was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She helped with the family business, Walter/Heine, now known as Sheridan Valley, for many years as the secretary and treasurer. She retired from that position at the age of 85. Ursula was also a member of the Lewiston Lions and a Red Garter Girl. She enjoyed socializing with friends and loved to go out and dance when she was younger. Above everything, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed by them all. She is survived by sons Fred (Carol) Heine of Lewiston; Richard Heine of West Palm, Florida; daughter, Susan (Doug) Smith of Lansing; grandchildren, Kim, Jessica, and Chip; and great-grandson, Frederick. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and El Walter; and husband, William. Funeral services for Mrs. Heine will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church; Lewiston, Michigan; Pastor Steven Thiel officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Green Funeral Home; Lewiston from 4:00PM until 7:00PM and again on Thursday from 10:00AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Internment will take place at Albert Township Cemetery, Lewiston.
