Mr. Timothy Scott Richard, 58 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at his home on January 16, 2024. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska on November 1, 1965, to Arthur and Lynne (Covell) Richard. Tim served his country proudly in the United States Army. He has resided in Atlanta since 2013. Tim was an avid sports fan and a talented athlete. While he played a variety of sports, his passion was baseball. He played competitive baseball from peewee league until he was in his 30’s. The Boston Red Sox were his favorite team. He was a die-hard fan of the Detroit Lions and was excited with how well the team was doing this year. Tim’s other passion was music. He played drums and the trumpet. His dream was to be a radio show host, which he got to do at Hillman Community Radio. His show was called The Time Machine with The Beatles Guy. He was a lifelong fan of the Beatles. Tim was an encyclopedia of songs, artists, and bands. He also enjoyed being a DJ and doing karaoke gigs. His confident and charismatic personality shown through while he was working. He attended the Michigan Career and Technical Institute and earned a degree in electronics. Tim was a kind, friendly, caring man who would do anything for those he loved. He is and will be deeply missed.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Alice Rodriguez; mother, Lynne Richard of Green Bay, Wisconsin; sister, Diana Richard of Texas; brother, David (Carrie) Richard of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Richard and sister, Michelle.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Timothy privately at this time.
