Timothy Hunt

Timothy “Tim” Michael Hunt, 52 of Hillman, Michigan died on January 9, 2025 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He was welcomed into Heaven with outstretched arms by his late brother, Doug. Tim was born in Alpena, Michigan on March 13, 1972 to Robert and Diane (Foltting) Hunt. He proudly raised seven children. Tim owned and operated Hunt Trucking. His passion was trucking, and he found joy in both driving and working on his truck. He loved old country music and the outdoors, whether he was hunting for that big buck or reeling in his fishing line on a largemouth bass. He was a great cook and a twin to his brother, Todd. He leaves behind a legacy of love in all of those who knew him. He is and will be deeply missed. 

Tim is remembered by his children, Sara (Jake) Delekta, Maria (Josh) Fuhrman, Michaela Hunt, Samantha Hunt, Robert Hunt, William Hunt, and Clinton Hunt; ten grandchildren with two on the way; parents, Bob (Diane) Hunt; siblings, Todd (Amanda) Hunt, Lynn (Mark) Espinoza, and Krista (Willy) Creekmore. He was preceded in death by his brother, Doug; and twin sons, James and Joseph. 

There will be a visitation held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman. There will be a luncheon following services at the VFW Post, Hillman. Interment will take place in the Spring at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery where Tim will be laid to rest.
