Thomas Allen Wineman Mr. Thomas Allen Wineman, 64 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at home surrounded by family on the early morning of October 12, 2016. He was born in Midland, Michigan the son of Oliver and Iva (Bennett) Wineman on November 8, 1951. He married his wife, Sally (Cumper) Wineman on December 26, 1970 and together the couple celebrated 45 years of marriage together before his passing. The couple resided in Atlanta for the past 40+ years. Thomas was a member of the Assembly of God Church and also attended the Atlanta Bible Church. He owned and operated Wineman Builders for 20+ years and worked for other contractors as well. In retirement, he enjoyed volunteering at the food panty at the Caring Place. He was an avid hunter, especially deer. Thomas enjoyed coffee shop times, family vacations, and attending family functions and sporting events. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Sally Wineman of Atlanta; children, Barbara (JC) Richway of Dallas, Texas; Matt (Lori) Wineman of Atlanta; Mya (Trace Kieliszewksi) Wineman of Alpena; grandchildren, Kaine, Mitchell, Alexis(L. J.), Abbie(Jered), and Blake; great grandson, Elijah; brothers, Mike (Birdie) Wineman of Elwell; Terry Wineman of St. Louis, Michigan; Bob (Shirley) Wineman of Farwell; Niece, Donna Green and children; and his grand-pups, Cletus, McKenzie, Jack, Tiko, Tia, and Sully. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Iva Wineman; brothers, John and Jim; and sisters, Pat Green and Sue Hunger. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of his life on October 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Atlanta Full Gospel Assembly of God Church, Pastor David Fisher officiating. Visitation hours will be held at the church from 5-8 PM on Friday evening, and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Memorials have been suggested to the Atlanta Full Gospel Assembly of God Church or to the Caring Place in Atlanta.
