Thomas Harley Reeves Thomas Harley Reeves, 75, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 27, 1935 to Henry and Nettie (Everett) Reeves in Monroe, MI. He has lived on Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta since 1985 moving here from Monroe, MI when he retired from Mclouth Steel after over 30 yrs of service there. He was an accomplished line dancer witht eh Sun Down Dancers Show Team our of Cheboygan, MI. His favorite past time was woodworking, especially building beautiful decorative furniture. He loved to cut his own firewood, and had the biggest wood pile on the ranch. One of his favorite highlights of his life was when he and his son Tom were able to stank on the top of the south tower of the Mackinac Bridge. Thomas is survived by his sons, Spencer (Lori) of Newport, MI, Henry of Lucedale, MS, and Tom (Jodi) of Atlanta, MI; daughter, Missy (Scott) Cochran of Lucedale, MS, 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Joanne Grant of Muskegon, MI; the mother of his children and dear friend, Phyllis Reeves; and many special friends including, Russ, Rod, and Ray. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Canada Creek Ranch House.
