Thomas Ellis Montague Mr. Thomas Ellis Montague, 72 of Hillman, Michigan died on February 25, 2015 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Flint, Michigan to the late, Wilfred and Pauline (Scafe) Montague on March 22, 1942. He married wife, Marilyn (Kraas) Montague in 1972. Thomas lived in Hillman for almost 20 years but had vacationed there for many years. He retired from Kearsley High School in Flint after 25+ years of teaching. In his free time he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing, and was an avid sports fan; especially the Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions. Above everything, family was his top priority and he enjoyed his time spent with them. He is survived by his son, Nick Montague of Hillman; stepdaughter, Colleen (Marc) Kennedy of Gresham, Oregon; and grandchildren, Michael and Megan. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Pauline Montague; and wife, Marilyn. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at a later date.
