On May 22nd, 2024, Thomas (Tom) Harvey Klein, 66 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 12th, 1957, to Vernon and the late Marilyn (Mowery) Klein. He resided in Hillman for the last two years and lived formerly in Commerce Township. Tom grew up in Atlanta and was a graduate of Atlanta High School, class of 1976. He was a standout athlete who participated in all sports. Tom’s world centered around family. He enjoyed family reunions, summers on Lake 15, pontoon boat rides and getting a good tan. Those sunny days often led to late night bonfires, Bud Light in hand, while listening to music and singing along. Tom had a true passion for music and The Beatles were his all-time favorite. He also liked to travel with loved ones. Taking care of his yard wherever he lived and having a well-manicured lawn gave Tom great pride. He thoroughly enjoyed going out to eat, especially with large groups and had a sweet tooth for chocolate malts and grape Kool-Aid. He liked to watch movies and was an avid sports fan, especially for the University of Michigan. Above all else, family meant everything to Tom, and he genuinely cherished the time he spent with them. He enjoyed making people laugh. Tom’s sense of humor was truly his gift to all who knew him, and he kept us laughing even up to his final days. Tom leaves behind countless memories and his undying love.
