Thomas William Dufty Thomas William Dufty, 90, of Lewiston, MI passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. He was born on January 8, 1918 to John and Grace (Doyle) Dufty in 1940. He retired from Frito Lay Potato Chip Co in 1972 as a Plant Supervisor, then went back to work for Superior Potato Chip Co, for another 10 yrs. He has lived in Lewiston since 1982. He was a member of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Thomas was a member of the Lewiston Moose Lodge. He was an avid reader. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He will be remembered by many friends, townspeople, and family all across the country. . Thomas is survived by his daughters, Mary Jo (Ronald) Pawelski of Lewiston, MI and Las Vegas, NV, and Kathleen Risky of Deluth, MN; grandchildren, Gregory, Elizabeth, Nathan, Christopher (Deceased), Anne, and Kathy Jo; great grandchildren, Matthew, Kamrie, Halle, Zoe, Alex, Kamille, and Laken; He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 1997. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lewiston, MI, Fr Ray Cotter officiating. Interment will take place at St Francis Catholic Cemetery.
