Thomas Calvin Clifford Thomas Calvin Clifford, 86, of Lewiston, Michigan, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at Wellbridge of Romeo in Romeo, Michigan. He was born on July 17, 1931 to Claude and Marguerite (Storms) Clifford in Roseville, Michigan. He married the former Jean Hodgson on June 11, 1954, in Roseville, MI, celebrating 63 years of marriage earlier this year. Tom served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He has resided in Lewiston since 1992, formerly of New Haven, Michigan. He enjoyed wintering in North Port, Florida where he loved to play on the slow pitch softball league. He enjoyed keeping busy, whether it was tinkering around the house or doing yard work. He was a member of the American Legion in Lewiston and the Am Vets. His life revolved around family, friends, and of course baseball and softball. Thomas is survived by his wife, Jean of Lewiston, Michigan; sons, Thomas Scott Clifford of New Haven, Michigan, David Clifford of Macomb Township, Michigan, and Steven (Kasie) Clifford of Richmond Township, Michigan; daughter, Susan (Joe) VanPamel of Macomb Township, Michigan; grandchildren, Sean, Leslie, Lindsey, Sarah, Mary, and Steven; great grandchildren, Amelia, Lillianna, Jakob, and Ella; and a sister, Delores "Duck" Bennett of Roseville, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Marguerite; brother, Jack Clifford; and sisters, Jean Burns and Shirley Duncan. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr Clifford at this time.
