Mr. Theodore “Ted” Geboski, Jr of Lewiston, Michigan, formerly of Livonia, passed away peacefully under hospice care on December 11, 2021 at the age of 93. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Geraldine (Zimmerman), his three sons, Gregory (Kim) Geboski of Middleton, Wisconsin; Douglas (Karen) Geboski of Rochester Hills; David (Pam) Geboski of Howell; and daughter, Leslie (Dale) Bluebond both deceased of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and seven wonderful grandchildren.
Ted was born in Ubly, Michigan to the late, Theodore Geboski and Susan Baraza. Upon graduating in 1945 from Ubly High School he joined the Army Air Force and served for three years in occupied Japan. He excelled in sports in high school and in Japan playing both basketball, baseball, and football. The Reserves called him back to serve in Korea where he was injured and received the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He returned to the U.S. and after his recovery attended Michigan State Normal College. While there he accepted a position at Ford Motor Company where he worked for 32 years. Upon retirement he moved to Lewiston, Michigan and golf became his passion. He spent his winters in Fort Myers, Florida.
Ted will be remembered by his many friends as a kind and generous gentleman who was dearly loved by his extensive family. A memorial service will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church in Lewiston in the early summer of 2022.
