Thelma Straugh

Mrs. Thelma Patricia Straugh, 83 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at her home on November 10, 2020. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on August 9, 1937 to the late, George and Hazel (Talley) Milligan. Thelma has resided in Hillman since 1951. Known by the post office at the QVC queen, she enjoyed shopping, cooking, crocheting, sewing, and anything to do with crafts. She will be dearly missed.

Thelma is survived by her son, John (Cindy) Ligus of Metamora; daughter, Anna Ligus of Williamson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; brother, George Milligan of Indiana; sisters, Marjorie Schale of Atlanta; Alice Sannes of South Lyon; and special friend and caregiver, LueVenia (Basil) Nichols of Hillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hazel Milligan; and husband, Don.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Thelma privately at this time.
