Mr. Terrence "Chip" Haile Woosley Jr, 70 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at his residence surrounded by the love of his family on the early morning of July 7, 2021. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 23, 1950 to the late, Terrence and Loretta (Felt) Woosley Sr. Chip resided in Redford for the last 69 years and moved to Lewiston just a few months ago. He was a past member of the Detroit Aeromodelers RC Flying Club and the NRA. Chip had a passion for anything mechanical and loved cars, especially drag racing. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Most importantly, he valued time spent with family and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Woosley of Lewiston; brother, Larry Woosley of Redford; sisters, Jane (Tom) Siminski of Gaylord; Laura (Ian) Beswick of Manchester, England; nieces and nephews, Chad, Holly, Jason, Jeremy, Nicholas, Adam, Phillip, and Daniel; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Terrence and Loretta Woosley Sr; and sister, Sara Jackson.
A memorial service will be held in celebration of Chip's life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston; Pastor Dave Hall officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until time of service.
