Sylvia Wilson-Michalski

Sylvia J. Wilson-Michalski Sylvia Jean Wilson-Michalski, 62, of Atlanta, passed away on July 5, 2007 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI. She was born on December 4, 1944 to Grove and Dora (Baur) Stevens in Alpena, MI. Sylvia spent most of her life in the Atlanta area. She retired as the secretary to the superintendent from the Atlanta Schools after 30+ yrs of service. In retirement she worked at the Abstract Office in Atlanta. She was a member of the Atlanta Congregational Church of Christ. She also was a member of the Atlanta Eagles, Rebekkahs, Red Hat Society, and the Northern Michigan Line Dancers. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin and boating. She loved to socialize. Above all else, she loved her family and grandchildren. Sylvia always lived life, and refused to let life live her. Sylvia is survived by her husband, Jerry of Atlanta; son Dennis Grove (Debra) Wilson of Midland, MI; daughter, Debbie (Chris) McNenly of Grand Blanc, MI; 4 grandchildren, Danielle, Jake, Katrina, and Riley; and two sisters, Mavis (Jim) Revennack of Traverse City, MI, and Dorine Moreau of Atlanta, MI. Funeral services for Mrs Wilson-Michalski will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 at the Atlanta Community Schools Elementary Gymnasium at 11:00 a.m., Rev H Robert Case officiating. Interment will take place in the Briley Twp Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI.
