Suzanne Crandall

Suzanne Ellen Crandall Mrs. Suzanne Ellen Crandall, 83 of Gaylord passed away at Tendercare on July 25, 2012. She was born to Duane and Teresa (Devine) Lillie in Grand Rapids, MI on July 4, 1929. She married husband, Ralph Crandall on June 30, 1951 at St. Jude's Church in Grand Rapids and together they raised four children. They couple moved to Gaylord in 2002 formally of Jackson, MI. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, collecting Swarovski crystal, and taking care of her family. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of sixty one years, Ralph Crandall of Gaylord; son, Timothy (Robin) Crandall of Jackson; daughters, Sally (Bud) Ohlerich of Flint; Jill (David) Falther of Gaylord; Jean (John) Lowe of Jackson; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Teresa Lillie. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial gathering at BJ's Restaurant in the Fireplace room, on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that all memorial donations be made to Hospice of MI, Gaylord.
