Mr. Stephen Edward Weaver, 62 of Atlanta, Michigan died on December 4, 2019 at his home. He was born April 26, 1957 to the late, James and Geri Weaver. They lived in Plainwell and eventually moved to Atlanta. He graduated from Atlanta High School. He absolutely loved spending time with his Aunt Linda and his two dogs, Trucker and Timmy, on the patio having coffee and reminiscing, as well as riding his Harley Davidson and driving semi trucks. He was the best driver and backer upper around. He also enjoyed the motorcycle club, Northern Thunder, where he was a founding father and took great pride in it. Steve owned the Atlanta Bait Shop for many years where he was the master baiter. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by siblings, Jeff (Janelle) Weaver of Atlanta; Tim Platt of Allegan; Jimmy (Ashley) Weaver of Froid, Montana; Heather Weaver of Arlee, Montana; Amanda (Denver) Klein of Hillman; nieces and nephews, Bubba, Ashly, Andrea, Brianna, Eva, Lorinda, Cathy, Raymond, Amy, Melissa, Ferris, Mya, Buzzy, Taeo, Enola, Ember, Gunner, James, Liam, Joey, Grace, Michael, Jeffrey, McKenna, and Allison. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Geri Weaver; and sister, Cindy Platt.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial gathering held in celebration of Stephen's life on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the VFW Hall in Atlanta.
