Stephen J. Molnar Mr. Stephen J. Molnar, 90 of Hillman, MI passed away at Medilodge of Hillman on February 5, 2012. He was born on June 20, 1921 to Stephen and Mary (Mulcher) Molnar in Portage, PA. He married Hilda Lukitsch on February 21, 1944 and together they had four children. As a young man he worked in conservation camps and was the camp boxing champion. Originally from Southgate, he moved to Hillman in 1984 having vacationed there since 1952. He retired from J.L. Hudson after thirty years of service in furniture sales. He was a member of the Knights of Colombus and the St. Augustine Catholic Church. Stephen was an avid bowler and golfer. In his free time, he also enjoyed watching his children play sports and the outdoors. Above everything, he enjoyed time spent with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Hilda Molnar of Hillman, MI; sons, Stephen (Terri) Molnar of Ocala, FL; Martin (Diane) Molnar of Hendersonville, PA; James (Theresa) Molnar of Mechanicsburg, PA; daughter, Catherine (David) Pevovar of Silverdale, WA; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren with one on the way. He was preceded in death by his seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services for Mr. Molnar will be held on February 9, 2012, 10:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church, Hillman, MI, Father Rolando Silva officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Flat Rock, MI on Saturday.
