Stella Irene Wojewski Stella Irene Wojewski, 83, of Atlanta, MI, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on September 10, 2011. She was born on March 26, 1928 to Alex and Julia (Prawda) Sodowski in Detroit, MI. She married Robert Wojewski on June 5, 1948 in Detroit. Stella retired from GM after 32 yrs, as an inspector at the Cadillac plant. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Atlanta, MI. She enjoyed to play Bunko with the girls, and loved to have a clean house. She truly loved her time spent with family and friends. Stella is survived by her son, Richard (Mary) Wojewski of Coldwater, MI; daughter, Virginia Boyce of Southfield, MI; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Genevieve Galka of Livonia, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2010. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mrs Wojewski will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Atlanta, MI.
