Stanley Robert Spalding Stanley Robert Spalding, 54, of Atlanta, MI passed away on October 1, 2009 at his residence. He was born on December 15, 1954 to Albert and Jeannette (Fox) Spalding in Belleville, MI. He married the former Diane Anderson on November 9, 1973. He retired from GM after 30 yrs of service there. Stanley loved to be outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved to spend time at the bonfire as well. He enjoyed trips to the Casino. He was quite a collector, collecting eagle and wolf items, automobile parts, guns, and model cars. Stanley is survived by his wife, Diane, of Atlanta, MI; children, Lynn (Kirk) Hurd of Roscommon, MI, Sheila Scott of Belleville, MI, and Gary Spalding of Gaylord, MI; grandchildren, Tiffany and Jody Hurd, and Heaven and Travis Scott; and siblings, Albert (Bessie) Spalding of Jackson, MI, Kathy Lucas, Linda (Dave) Sewell, Mary Roach, and Patricia (Mike) O'Malley all of Atlanta, MI, and Margret (Bill) Lange of North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Jeannette; and a brother Thomas. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr Spalding at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home, Hillman.
