Shirley Ann Jones Mrs. Shirley Ann Jones, 75 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away on June 24, 2013 at her residence surrounded by loved ones. She was born to the late, Leslie and Pansy (Bowles) Cummings on April 7, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married husband, Albert Jones in October of 1967 and together they shared 22 years of marriage before his passing in 1989. Shirley has lived in Atlanta for almost 40 years. She loved to play "yahtzee" and favored the television show, "The Big Bang Theory." She enjoyed scratch off tickets and gambling, and loved her dogs, Ozzy, Wildo, and Sissy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by daughter, Lisa (Ronald) Johnson of Atlanta; sons, Jason (Laurie) Jones of Atlanta; Steve Jones of Atlanta; brothers, Virgil Cummings; Victor (Jean) Cummings; Vincent (Marilyn) Cummings all of Saginaw; and sister, Shelby (Bob) Davis of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Pansy Cummings; husband, Albert Jones; son, Albert Jones; and brother, Melvin Cummings. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Jones at this time.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa (Ronald) Johnson of Atlanta; sons, Jason (Laurie) Jones of Atlanta; Steve Jones of Atlanta; brothers, Virgil Cummings; Victor (Jean) Cummings; Vincent (Marilyn) Cummings all of Saginaw; and sister, Shelby (Bob) Davis of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Pansy Cummings; husband, Albert Jones; son, Albert Jones; and brother, Melvin Cummings.
As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Jones at this time.
