Mrs. Shirley Victoria Head, 84 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at MidMichigan Medical Center of Alpena on December 14, 2020. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 20, 1936 to the late, George and Leona (Frye) Wilczewski. Shirley has lived in Atlanta for the past 68 years, coming from Detroit. Shirley had an outgoing personality and was stranger to few. Where ever she went, there was conversation and a new found friend. She was known as "Avon Lady of the North", selling for 45 years and have received many "Mrs. Albee Awards" for top product sales for the area. Her love for her family was priceless. Along with her four children, the passion she had for her grandchildren was endless. She created many wonderful, loving memories for all of them. She also had a very special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Head of Lewiston; sons, James (Michele) Head of Detroit; Robert (Diana) Head of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Sherri, Cheryl, Jessica, Brian, Michael, Shaunna, and Shera; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Alice Friend of Howell; brother, Frank (Jane) Wilczewski of Manton; sister-in-law, Christine Wilke of Novi; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Leona Wilczewski; husband, John; son, Joseph; brother, George; and sister, Delores Green.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a graveside service held in celebration of Shirley's life in the Spring.
