Shirley Hartford

Shirley Mae Hartford Mrs. Shirley Mae Hartford, 79 of Lewiston, Michigan died at Alpena Regional Medical Center on September 2, 2015. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 27, 1935 the daughter of Orvall and Evelyn (DePlanche) Kline. She worked in production in the automotive industries and worked at Burroughs in Plymouth and Hydra-matic in Ypsilanti for many years. Formerly of Wayne, she moved to Lewiston in 1981 with her husband, Clarence. Shirley attended catholic church throughout her life and had numerous hobbies including; crocheting, crafts, cards, playing dice, painting, and trips to the casino. Aside from her hobbies she enjoyed the time she spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is survived by sons, Michael Hartford of Atlanta; Roy (Sue) Penn of Wayne; Orvall (Nadine) Hartford of Wayne; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brothers, Orvall Kline of Romulus; and Walter Kline of Lewiston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orvall and Evelyn Kline; husband, Clarence; and son, Patrick. Funeral services for Mrs. Hartford will be held at 12:00PM on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Green Funeral Home; Lewiston, Michigan; Fr. Santiago Hoyumpa officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until time of service. Internment will follow services at Albert Township Cemetery; Lewiston. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
