Sherri Lynn Brinker Mrs. Sherri Lynn Brinker, 64 of Atlanta, Michigan passed away on January 27, 2013 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. She was born to Edward and Mae (Mattson) Thompson on November 5, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan. She married husband Kevin Brinker on February 7, 1975 in New Baltimore and together they raised a family. The couple moved from Anchorville, Michigan in 2010 to Atlanta. Sherri worked at Wet Thumb Aquatics for many years where she worked breeding and selling tropical fish. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crafts, especially painting and ceramics. Above all, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-seven years, Kevin Brinker of Atlanta; son, Brenton (Maggie Capps) Brinker of Clinton Township; daughter, Holly (Kyle) Slaubaugh of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Evelyn and Samantha; and sister, Sheila Thompson of Clinton Township. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mae Thompson. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mrs. Brinker at this time.
