Sharon Fogarty

Mrs. Sharon Ann Fogarty, 83 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at the Hospice House of MidMichigan in Lansing on March 25, 2023. She was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan on November 21, 1939 to the late, Byron and Mary (McClarney) Bliss. She has resided in Lewiston since 1971. Sharon graduated from South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she worked as both a secretary and director. When she was able, she enjoyed cooking and baking for family when they would visit and she was known to have a green thumb in the garden. She also enjoyed ceramics. Most important to Sharon was her family, grandchildren, and her dogs. She is and will be deeply missed.

Sharon is survived by her children, Sandy (Gary) Sikorski of St. Clair Shoes; Stacey Hipple of Roseville; Scott Defer of Roseville; grandchildren, Erika (Aaron) Meagher, Kiel Hipple; great-grandchildren, Addison and Nora; sisters, Carol (Tom) Artsui of Central Lake; Nancy (Jim) Wallace of Canadian Lakes. She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Mary Bliss; first husband, Stan; and husband, Bill.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Sharon privately at this time.
