Scott Michael Gifford Scott Michael Gifford, 39, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on May 19, 2011 at his residence following a four year battle with cancer. He was born on April 21, 1972 to Delbert and Ruth (Stevanus) Gifford in Saginaw, MI. He married the former Terri Weston on June 6, 1999 at his parent's home on Big Creek. He has lived in Lewiston for the past 14 years where he worked in real estate sales, even owning Century 21 North East Real Estate in Lewiston for some time. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Gaylord, and the Lewiston Moose Lodge as well. Scott was an avid hunter and fisherman, he especially enjoyed fly fishing and tying his own flies. He loved to travel with his family. Scott is survived by his wife, Terri and daughter, Ella Michelle, of Lewiston, MI; parents, Delbert and Ruth Gifford of Luzerne, MI; and brother Greg (Becca) Gifford of Lewiston, MI. Funeral services for Mr Gifford will be held on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, Gaylord, MI, Pastor Thomas Mammoser officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, May 22, from 4-8 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Gifford family to set up a college fund for Ella.
