Ruth Taylor

Mrs. Ruth Margaret Taylor, 94 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on July 2, 2022. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 17, 1928 to the late, Harold and Blanch (Tbaka) Wilson. She has resided in Atlanta for the last 20+ years. Ruth was a member of the Atlanta Eagles and VFW Post 9489 and the Atlanta Senior Center. She enjoyed bowling, trips to the casino, puzzles, reading, animals, and birds, and playing bunco. She will be deeply missed.

Ruth is survived by her children, Linda Speer of Atlanta; Steve Colby of South Lyon; Sandy Colby of Fowlerville; stepsons, Gary (Charlene) Taylor of Florida; Bruce (Melissa) Taylor of Idaho; Ronald (Gloria) Ballard of Mississippi; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Blanch Wilson; husband, Bernard; daughter, Donna; stepson, David; grandsons, Brandon and KJ; granddaughter, Kelly; and great-grandsons, Kyle and Dashiel.

In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Ruth privately at this time.
