Ruth Lennea Hubert Ruth Lennea Hubert, 88, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at AuSable Valley Home in Fairview, MI. She was born on June 27, 1918 to Isaac and Mary (Holmsten) Hermanson in Lewiston, MI. She married Clare Raymond Hubert on April 23, 1938. She worked as a cook at the Neunfelt Hotel and the Lewiston Lodge; then stayed home to raise her family. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Ruth is survived by her three sons, Donald (Loretta) Hubert of Lake City, FL, Louis "Corky" (Benita) Hubert of Lewiston, and Stanley (Shelly) Hubert of Harvey, MI; two daughters, Mary (Allen) Girard of Alpena, MI, and Gladys (Lyle) Klein of Atlanta, MI; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clare; daughter, Agnes Nickolay; grandson, Bradley Rouleau; sisters, Hildur Newell, Agnes King, Edith Agren, Mabel Rundquist, and Ella Bowie; and brothers, Walter, Edwin, and Louis Hermanson. Funeral services for Mrs Hubert will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Pastor Ken McGarvey officiating. Visitation was held on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at East Albert Township Cemetery, Lewiston, MI. The family has suggested memorials to AuSable Valley Home, PO Box 9, Fairview, MI 48621 or to Hartland Hospice, PO Box 667, West Branch, MI 48661.
