Ronald William Pagenkopf Mr. Ronald William Pagenkopf, 79 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away suddenly on December 4, 2014 at his home. He was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late, Walter and Ellen (Lewalter) Pagenkopf on November 10, 1935. He was a proud veteran and served his country in the United States Navy. In Plymouth, Michigan on May 7, 1955 he married wife, Joan (Haworth) Pagenkopf and together the couple spent the next 59 years together before his passing. Ronald worked as a millwright for Ford Motor Company for 16 years and also volunteered at the fire department in Plymouth. After his retirement, the couple moved to Lewiston. Ronald enjoyed wood carving, but mostly he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Pagenkopf of Lewiston; sons, Mark (Dorothy) Pagenkopf; and Michael Pagenkopf both of Westland; grandson, Duane; and brother-in-law, Joe Haworth of Lewiston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ellen Pagenkopf; and son, Ronald Pagenkopf Jr. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family memorial held in celebration of his life at a later date.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joan Pagenkopf of Lewiston; sons, Mark (Dorothy) Pagenkopf; and Michael Pagenkopf both of Westland; grandson, Duane; and brother-in-law, Joe Haworth of Lewiston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ellen Pagenkopf; and son, Ronald Pagenkopf Jr.
