Roger George Roy Mr. Roger George Roy, 84 of Atlanta passed away at his home on October 26, 2012 with loved ones at his side. He was born on January 27, 1928. He married the late Ruth Churcott in on May 5, 1950 in Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada. He has resided in Atlanta for the past twenty-six years, formally of Richmond. He worked as a tool and die maker and retired from Combine Tool and Die in Roseville. He was a great outdoorsman and loved to show his children and grandchildren the outdoors in northern Michigan. He enjoyed to hunt, fish, and go camping in his free time. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his sons, Mark Roy of Baraga; Randy (Sunyi) Roy of Prescott; Brian (Julie) Roy of Watertown, NY; Wendell (Lisa) Roy of Roscommon; Richard Roy of CA; Blair Roy of CA; daughter, Peggy (Ken) DuChateau of Sterling Heights; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Roy; grandson, David; and 10 brothers and sisters. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
