Roberta Cohoon

Roberta Margaret Cohoon Roberta Margaret Cohoon, 88, of Hillman, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2007 at her residence in Rust Twp. She was born on September 7, 1918 to Douglas and Lorna (Roberts) Kenyon in Fowlerville, MI. She married Harold Cohoon in November of 1936 in Rust Twp. She spent most of her life in Rust Twp. She loved to socialize and spend time with her family, being a grandmother was all important to her. She liked to sew, play cards, and cook, especially pies. Roberta loved the outdoors, no matter if she was just walking in the woods, cutting firewood, snowmobiling, taking a trip to Canada to fish, or traveling around the country in the motor home. Roberta is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Donald) Barrett of Hillman, MI; three sons, Richard (Deanna) Cohoon of Hillman, MI, Gerry (Judy) Cohoon of Pheonix, AZ, and Larry (Janet) Cohoon of Hillman, MI; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Edna) Kenyon of Atlanta, MI; and sisters, Doris Cohoon of Hillman, MI, Phyllis Cohoon of Hillman, MI, and Luara (Duane) Deimond of Seattle, WA. Shre was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI.
