Robert Lafleur

Robert Albert LaFleur Mr. Robert Albert LaFleur, 62 of Atlanta, MI passed away on August 17, 2012 at the Alpena Regional Medical Center. He was born to Roland and Santa (Guidetti) LaFleur on November 3, 1949 in Fitchburg, MA. He married his wife, Linda (Owen) LaFleur on August 13, 1977 in Pepperell, MA. The couple moved to the Atlanta area in 2006, formally of Umatilla, FL. Robert worked in electronic automation with G & T Conveyer for seven years. He was a "jack of all trades" and worked in construction as well as being a shipping clerk. He was currently working part-time for DNR maintenance. In his free time he enjoyed playing horseshoes, woodworking, and carpeting. He volunteered to help at the VFW for various functions. He enjoyed to socialize with friends and make people laugh. Robert will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-five years, Linda LaFleur of Atlanta; sons, Chris (Kuresse) LaBelle of Benton City, WA; Atwood Owen of Las Vegas, NV; Seneca (Christial) Owen of Umatilla, FL; grandchildren, Zeke, Trevor, and Kyleigh; mother, Santa LaFleur of Umatilla, FL; brothers, Ernie (Roberta) LaFleur of Fitchburg, MA; Billy (Patti) LaFleur of Hinsdale, NH; Edward LaFleur of Orlando, FL; Raymond (Kayala) LaFleur of Thailand; Tim (Sandy) LaFleur of Eustis, FL; and sister, Ramona (Larry) Wheeler of Umatilla, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland LaFleur. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of his life on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 6:00 PM at his residence. Memorials may be made out to the LaFleur family.
