Robert Henry Hubbel Robert Henry Hubbel, 80, of Lewiston, Michigan, passed away on July 31, 2017 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was born on October 13, 1936 to Floyd and Rena (Beebe) Hubbel in Howell, Michigan. Bob had lived in Lewiston since 1973 from Clark Lake, Michigan. He served in the Army National Guard for 20 years. He owned and operated Twin Lakes Collision and Lewiston Auto Sales since moving to Lewiston, even operating a wrecker service at one time as well. He was a past member of the Lewiston Lions. Bob loved to travel, fish, and hunt. He always took pride in having a green lawn and a nice deck. Above all else, he loved his time with his family. Bob is survived by his wife, Cindy of Lewiston; daughters, DonnaJo Ewing of South Lyon, Michigan, and Pamela (Mike) Courterier of Little Torch Key, Florida; step children, Deanna (Kevin) Garrity of West Bloomfield, Michigan, and Aaron (Elizabeth) Rivard of Lewiston, Michigan; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, John (Martha) Hubbel of Howell, Michigan; sisters, Patty Herrmann of Brighton, Michigan; and Nancy (Charles) Patterson of Crossville, Tennessee; a sister in law, Judy Hubbel of Richmond, Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Rena; son in law, Barry Ewing; and brother, Edward Hubbel. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a memorial service on Saturday, August, 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Mr. Kevin Garrity officiating. Visitation hours will he held from 11:00 AM on Saturday until time of service. Memorials have been suggested to the Hubbel Family to construct the flag pole that Bob always wanted at the corner of County Road 612 and Meridian Line Road in his honor.
