Robert Cornelius

Robert C. Cornelius Mr. Robert C. Cornelius, 76 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on June 12, 2018 at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord. He was born in Roseville, Michigan on October 3, 1941 to the late, Woodrow and Maude (Bolitho) Cornelius. Bob was a devote Catholic and attended Jesus The Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Atlanta for as long as his health would allow him. He had a variety of hobbies that he enjoyed doing. He loved cutting the grass and running the tractor at a golf course he was previously employed at. He adored his two cats, Precious and The Organizer. He was a nature enthusiast and liked picking rocks and driving around photographing wildlife, especially elk. Bob considered himself to be a pool shark and a jokester. He had a great sense of humor. His absolute favorite thing to do was to eat cookies and pizza. He will dearly be missed. He is survived by siblings, Bill Cornelius of Highland; Carol Hartwick of Frederick; and special friends, Laura (Dan) Panko of Atlanta. A memorial mass will be held in Bob's honor at 10:00AM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Jesus The Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Atlanta; Fr. Robert Conner officiating.
He is survived by siblings, Bill Cornelius of Highland; Carol Hartwick of Frederick; and special friends, Laura (Dan) Panko of Atlanta.
