Robert Brooks

Mr. Robert “Bob” L. Brooks stepped into Heaven early January 4, 2022 at his home. He was born in Atlanta, Michigan on March 24, 1936 to the late, Fred and Velma (Valentine) Brooks. He married, Kathleen (Kamen) Brooks on February 11, 1956 and together the couple celebrated 65 years of marriage before his passing. Together they raised four children. Bob attended the Full Gospel Church and enjoyed wood working, four wheeling, fishing, and working in his vegetable garden. Most importantly, he valued spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Brooks of Atlanta; children, Robert (Robin) Brooks of Casnovia; Gloria (Kris) Suhr of Greenville; Laura (Ross) Binge of Atlanta; Ronald (Shannon) Brooks of Bailey; 15 grandchildren, Amber, Ena, Nathan, Caleb, Kelda, Clara, Michael, Joshua, Nicholas, Johnny, Lindsae, Bryce, Valerie, Kalyn, and Bradley; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred L. and Velma B. Brooks; and sister, Dixie L. Fisk.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at a later date.
